Aim Internet Limited

Aim Internet is a website design and online marketing company. We have been in business for roughly 15 years and have a wide range of clients. Recently it has proved ever more difficult to get decent content from clients for their sites and we had begun to explore the possibility of offering copywriting services to speed the process up. James was a visitor at my BNI meeting one week and when he mentioned this was his forte we decided to ask him to write the copy for a new site we were building for one of our clients.

We asked James to write the content for an Indian charity called The Aware Foundation. They had very little information on their existing site. The language and time differences made the task more difficult. It was important to keep the tone of the text positive in terms of the foundation’s good work, but also give it an emotional pull to encourage people to pledge money.

Despite the problems involved in dealing with overseas clients, James managed to keep the momentum up, gather all the information he needed from the client and write the content with the right combination of facts and emotive calls to action. The copy was written to inspire the reader and encourage them to donate to the cause. He met the timescales we gave him without any problem and the client was very happy with the result.

We very much hope to work with James again in the future.
